Tembo, Swahili for Elephant is a portrait of a tusker, the rare elephant with enormous tusks that still inhabits the Amboseli ecosystem in Kenya. Elephants love to eat acacia and are often found snacking among the acacia trees. Tembo has patterns of acacia engraved across his body.
